In May, PwC released its Hopes and Fears 2021 report, which details the results of the large-scale survey it carried out on more than 32,500 workers across 19 countries. Among the most striking findings are that one in two workers say they have faced discrimination at work because of their gender, age, social class or ethnicity; that almost three out of four people who are able to perform their job remotely prefer a mix of remote and in-person working; and that a similar proportion sees training as a matter of personal responsibility and say they are willing to reskill completely as needed.
