On Spain’s education and training imbalances

In February, the CYD Report 2021-2022, prepared by the CYD Foundation, confronted us once again with evidence of the training and education imbalances among people living in Spain. In this country, 40.7% of the adult population holds a higher education qualification, while 36.1% have only the minimum compulsory education or no education at all. These figures stand in contrast to those for the European Union as a whole, where 33.4% of the adult population has a higher education qualification and 45.9%, an intermediate level qualification.
