Gender pay gap even wider on boards of directors 

In August, New Street Consulting Group published a report exposing the significant pay gap that continues to divide men and women on the boards of major UK companies, despite the remarkable increase in female presence on the boards of listed companies in recent years. In January 2021, 34.4% of board members at FTSE 350 companies (the top 350 listed companies in the UK) were women, compared to just 21.9% in October 2015. However, female board members at these market-leading UK companies are paid a whopping 40% less than their male counterparts.
