Tech giants face hybrid work challenge

Last month, Silicon Valley companies, including Google and Twitter, began reopening their offices. These two companies in particular announced reopening plans that offer a prime example of the two main back-to-office schemes being implemented by tech companies in the area. On the one hand, Google is going for a hybrid model and wants most of its employees back at their desks in the San Francisco Bay Area offices at least three days a week. On the other, Twitter is reopening its offices but will let employees go in at their own discretion, or even work full-time from home. Only time will tell which of these two schemes will prevail.
